Antique Post Toasties Stringholder w/String, General Store, AWESOME

Hi! Up for sale is this antique metal “Bully For Breakfast…New Post Toasties” cereal general store string holder with a cone of string. It has patent dates of Feb. 22, 1916 and June 20, 1916. The sign part is tin and the bracket is steel. It’s yellow, blue, and orange and depicts a rising sun with rays radiating out. It’s been used and as such, is in “as is, as found, as photographed”, what you see is what you get condition. It’s 106 years old, so we can all hope to look so good at that age 😉 There is rust, some warps, there are bends/dents, paint loss and fade, just normal wear and tear from use. The cone of string is old and soiled. The cardboard seems to be crumbling a little bit at a time. The sign measures 11 1/2” in diameter. This string holder would be a phenomenal addition to someone’s kitchen or general store decor or collection and I hope someone will love it ❤️
